My photo
Nice to e-meet you! That's internet for Hello. And that's also about as far as I got in planning what to say in this thing...but as a lover of spontaneity and the inability to edit my own words because that would mean actually having an awareness as to the nothingingness that I am about to ramble on about for far too long...I'm just going to go ahead and keep typing. Apparently...

Somewhere Beyond the Sea

If you haven't yet noticed my trend, I tend to like to go walking along the sea an awful lot. Usually by myself. And, well, this week was no exception!!

(I love tulips! sooo pretty!)

Since it's getting closer to summer, and it certainly seemed like summer based on the beautiful weather, all of the hustle bustle and entertainment flocked to the seawall for people like me to enjoy! (On second thought, its actually all for tourists which is not me at all...but I still like to enjoy it anyways!)

As much as I am anxious to leave Vancouver (at least for a little while) I can't help but appreciate how lucky I am in to live in such a picturesque city. And trust me, my photography skills don't do it justice!

I took some pictures of a few of the random but never the less appreciated "attractions" I saw on my walk.

This is 'Spandy Andy'
He is well known in Vancouver for dancing to electronica music and being...well...spandy andy. This time he got a little kid to join in and the two of them put on quite the show!

One of the many bands along the water

A Harp! How perfect.

A real live roller derby game!! Omg are they ever intense! What a crazy game!

Of course there are many vendors trying to sell stuff along the water. These paintings were gorgeous

A little kid on a unicycle. Clearly I wasn't as stealth in my picture taking as I thought I was being as he is looking directly at me.

A little taste of my city! Perhaps seen through rose colored glasses...

You are really lucky to be living in such a beautiful place. Those pictures are so lovely. I wouldn't mind staying all day in that place.

  2. Beautiful! I'm a tad bit jealous :)
