Nice to e-meet you! That's internet for Hello. And that's also about as far as I got in planning what to say in this thing...but as a lover of spontaneity and the inability to edit my own words because that would mean actually having an awareness as to the nothingingness that I am about to ramble on about for far too long...I'm just going to go ahead and keep typing. Apparently...

shiny lights + sparkles + sweets

You know those annoyingly sentimental Christmas-y spirited people? The kind who actually get excited to do Christmas activities such as shopping in insanely busy stores on weekends, listening (and singing obnoxiously to) endless carols, and filling their days up with every last winter event possible (including the ones just meant for children). Well, as the holiday festivities start creeping up, I turn into the best kind of one of those.

I love Christmas time. With it's pretty lights, fancy drinks, rosey noses and cold hands looking to be held, it fills my heart with a little needed warmth. And despite my singleness, I revert all of my woe is me, i'm so lonely-energy into being the best little housewife who isn't a wife at all and doesn't exactly own a house.
Minor details.

I had some girls over for gingerbread house making and crafts! I had seen this e-friendly Christmas tree decoration craft and thought it was such a good idea, so I got everyone to make one.

We had lots of sweets and even more chatter, and it turned out to be a delightful evening!

Happiest of days, Sir!

It's not often that I come across somebody who is not only an amazing blogger, but also a truly wonderful person and friend (except of course, all of you reading this, who also blog...) but, being that today is his birthday, I feel that I need to share this fantastic person with you all. I don't even know where to begin in introducing him because my mind fills with adjectives (including a few I think I made up in describing him, such as splendideriffic).

He is a true English gentleman, an avid book enthusiast, exquisite writer and to top it all off, he is the most modest person I know! So who is this too-good-to-be-true guy, you ask? Well, he goes by tbr, and you can find his quaint corner of the internet here.

On your birthday, I want to wish you an awesome day filled with love and happiness. I think you were possibly the first (certainly within the first 5) blogs that I ever started following, and were one of my very first followers. I don't know how you've stuck with me for this long, but there is no getting rid of me now!
Since the beginning you have entertained me with your words and continue to amaze me to this day!

I still plan on taking you up on that trip to London!

Happy Birthday!!

And as a little internet version of a birthday present, Risha and I put together a little something for you...
...yes, we spend a lot of time internet stalking you and putting together evil plans that revolve around our fondness of you...we even had a mutual e-evil laugh over it all.

If you ever need blackmail material on me, I'd start here...
